Giving Back

Thank you! Thank you! Due to the generous support of our amazing community we were able to donate over 900 backpacks to local farmworkers’ families for the 2019-2020 school year! Each backpack was filled with school supplies tailored to each recipient. It has been very exciting to watch this program grow dramatically since the first year. A special thank you to everyone who assisted with packing and distributing the backpacks.

Each year we awards a college scholarship to a high school senior wishing to pursue a degree or career in sustainable agriculture. Two deserving students were awarded this scholarship this year. Congratulations to Sam McGlynn from Davis and Jarrett Darrah from Placerville for their contribution to their communities. We are very proud of their accomplishments and we wish them both the best of luck with their college careers and future endeavors!
